Personal Reaction: I loved the text and illustrations of this story, with lines line, “And in that moment the world was filled with kindness and love and no fighting.” The illustrations show kids and families from around the globe eating pizza as diverse as the cultures on the planet. Can pizza really solve all the world’s problems? I’d have to say no, but this sweet text and gorgeous illustrations of diverse kids from across the globe makes for a great story! Review: A sneeze interrupts a momma’s wish for world peace and turns it into… world pizza! What happens next really does create world peace as people eat pizza around the world, sharing different toppings, different methods of eating it and in the end, there really is peace. or is it?
